One of the main areas we wanted to improve was the availability of coach education/licensing. Each year, usually in March/April, we host the United States Soccer Federation who provide age specific Grassroots courses. The cost of hosting the course/instructor and the cost for attendees is completely covered by the League. This enables 90 coaches to get professional level guidance and training locally (no trips to Worcester needed!).

In order to register for any US Soccer Coaching Education Blended Course, candidates must be at least 16 years old and have completed U.S. Soccer's Introduction to Grassroots Coaching module. Speak to your club registrar for a registration link.

All course registrations are done directly through the US Soccer Learning Center. The RSL will issue reimbursement to the coach directly once they have been confirmed as attending both virtual and in person courses. We have avoided paying upfront for the course due to non-shows in previous events. Onsite registration is not available for US Soccer Courses.
